How does it work?
When you join, you'll receive an email that will confirm you've joined the Affiliate program and will give you a link to access the links and graphics to start promoting Life Design Strategies products and services. Once you've placed a link or graphic on your website, blog, newsletter or in an email to a friend, you're set.
When people click on that link or graphic they are directed to this website. The affiliate software uses cookies to remember that customer came from you.
They'll have all the information about the program or product and how it will add value to their life. When they make a purchase now or in the future it you'll receive an email telling you you've made money. You'll receive a percentage of that sale. How cool is that!
You'll receive an email when someone you referred purchases something, and you can also keep track by logging into your affiliate account to see how much you've earned.
What happens if someone doesn't buy immediately, but comes back later? Will I still get paid?
Yes, the software will remember they were referred by you, indefinitely so you'll reap the rewards whenever they purchase.
How often do I get paid?
Currently, Life Design Strategies pays commissions at the end of the month following when they were earned. There is no minimum payment. Payments will be made in US$ through PayPal.
Can affiliates buy from themselves or sell to Life Design Strategies clients?
Not usually, but for some programs you'll be able to earn a referral fee for yourself. Where this applies, I'll make it very clear so you know.
How much commission do I get from each product or service I sell?
That depends on the type of product or service. Here is a breakdown of commissions:

How can I create more sales?
The best way to promote these products is to share your experience with my ezine, my products or a program - a personal testimonial with the specific benefits you've received is the most effective recommendation. Your readers will be more confident to buy if you've given them your personal endorsement through a review or spotlight feature in your newsletter, blog, website or on Facebook or Twitter.
If you'd like to arrange a promotional interview or teleclass with me, that's a great way to direct people to your webpage to make their purchase using your link. Just let me know if you'd like to do this.
How do I get my affiliate links in plain text to include in an email or plain text newsletter?
Here are the easy steps to do just that:
1. Login to your affiliate account using the username and password provided in your welcome email.
2. Go to Programs and look for the product you'd like to promote.
3. Take the first line of the text link (found underneath the graphic) which looks like this <A HREF="http://www.profcs.com/app/?Clk=725280"> . This is the affiliate link for my account, so yours will show a different number at the end. Each person has their own unique affiliate identifier.
4. Delete the <a href=" at the beginning of the link, and the "> at the end. You'll be left with just this: http://www.profcs.com/app/?Clk=725280
5. This is the active hyperlink you paste into a text email or newsletter. Because it has your special affiliate number in it, you'll get the benefit of anyone making a purchase using this link.
How do I get the graphics onto my website or blog?
To use one of our graphics to promote our products, just follow these three simple steps.
1. Log in to your affiliate account using your user name and password sent in the welcome email.
2. Select Links and Tools and select a program from the drop down menu. Find the product you wish to promote on the page you're taken to. Find the graphic, and below this will be the HTML coding you need.
3. Paste this HTML coding into your HTML code editor.
You're all set and can start making money.
When would I send people to your home page rather than an individual product? And how do I do that?
You may wish to send people to my site so they can subscribe to my newsletter and take a look around for themselves. Once they start getting my newsletter and start connecting with me, if they resonate with what I'm saying they are then likely to want more and try a product or program. Because you recommended them through your link, you'll make commissions on their purchases at a later date.
This works well with people who might want to start getting my newsletter first before making a purchase.
For this, you use the default affilate link that was sent to you in your welcome email.
