5 Tips for getting out of struggle and into alignment!

Did 2009 get you a tad twisted out of shape? Perhaps things are not flowing quite as well as they were? Things that used to work and seemed just fine, are no longer working. It’s definitely time for an adjustment!

This is the reality: it’s time to do what you’re here to do and express who you really are! The energy of the planet and the energy of 2010 is demanding it - we need you to be doing what you’re being called to do. And if you can’t hear what that is, it’s time to reduce the noise.

If you’re at all uncomfortable or struggling now, it’s only going to get worse if you don’t listen to what’s happening. If you’re a conscious being - which I know you are or you wouldn’t be reading this - your discomfort is a warning. There is something out of alignment and that something is inside YOU!

Now is the perfect time to do something radical, start a spirit based business, go out on a limb, do something completely different and perhaps even something that seems out of character. If you’re going through a mid life transition or any other kind of transition at the same time as the planet is going through its change, you have even more power behind you to make the shifts you need to make!

Remember, if you’re being called to do something, it means people are calling you! Whatever it is, it’s needed! Time to listen! And act!

You may not know what you’re being called to do. Whether you do, or you don’t, or you do but are not making it happen, here are 5 tips to help you on your way.

1. Be very honest with yourself about what is not working for you in every aspect of your life. Not for the faint of heart - this takes courage but is soooooo worthwhile. Even if you think you’re fairly conscious, as I do, you’re in for some surprises! Ask yourself:

  • Am I living the life I really want to be living - in all areas?
  • Does my work feed my soul?
  • Am I happy with my body and my health?
  • Is my home a nourishing, inspiring, sanctuary?
  • Is money flowing as I’d like it to be?
  • Have I found my voice and am I doing what I’m here to do?
  • Do the people I hang out with most, support me in living my dream?

When something is not working for you it’s because you’re out of alignment with who you really are and what you’d really like. You could be out of alignement in the actions you’re taking, the words you’re speaking or your environment could be so full of stuff it’s not supporting you in being the magnificent person you are. The answers to these questions will give you good stuff to work with!

2. Have a powerful vision or intention for your life - otherwise you’re just going to feel frustrated, stuck and off track, and will be going whichever way the wind blows!

Feng Shui done with intention makes it 110% effective, without, it’s only 10% effective. Same with life of course! You may not know what your vision is - but you could set an intention to be really clear about where you’re going - either way your vision or intention is going to be the focus which harnesses the power of the Universe and pulls you forward.

3. Look at your home through Feng Shui eyes: this is fun! Choose a room that’s bugging you - perhaps your home office, could be any room. Pretend you’ve never seen this room and you have no idea who lives here! Or perhaps take photos - it will give you another perspective. Then, ask yourself: what does this room tell me about the person who lives here? What is their life all about, or their business? Describe the person who absorbs the energy of this room?

Is this you? Is this who you want to be? Is this the business you’re building (if it’s your office you’re looking at).

One of the people on the call yesterday did this and told me that’s what decided her to do my program - she her office told her about the energy of her business was not what she wanted for it. This is a powerful exercise.

4. Use Clutter Busting as a portal for transformation and let go of what no longer supports you. You absorb the energy of everything in your environment - which is why your environment is either supporting you or working against you! If you don’t make changes in your environment it will hold you back where you used to be - and put you out of alignment with what your heart and soul is calling out for. This is what creates struggle.

Clutter busting is the most powerful personal growth tool I know because it creates an immediate shift in your energy which means you immediately start attracting higher vibration people, things, energy, circumstances - which usually translates into money! It’s Feng Shui 101 and Law of Attraction 101.

5. Get support! It’s all very well: you know your clutter is weighing you down, making you feel lethargic and keeping you from being the amazing, passionate, full of life person you really are! You know it’s zapping the very life blood out of you!

And the reason why it’s not always easy to let go of things is that everything around you is attached to you with an invisible energetic cord! Which means you need to disconnect from not just your stuff, but the emotions that keep you tied to it - and all this means clutter busting is one of the greatest acts of self care you can give yourself!

Get support from a friend, or get support from someone who can give you a step-by-step process to make it easy!

The changes you’re experiencing on the planet are speeding things up - it’s time to come out from under your stuff and get with the program! It’s only going to get more uncomfortable if you don’t. If you feel something is missing, or that you don’t quite have all 4 wheels on the track, use these tips to get things moving, You’ll love how it feels when you do! Woo Hoo!

What are you ready to let go of?

Vicky, your words inspire me. Just read the 5 Tips to get out of Struggle and into Alignment and I am jazzed. Your article helped me realize that I’ve been playing small and not believing that I can have my cherished dreams. I’m setting aside time in the next 4 days to move myself into alignment with my dreams.

    Thank you for your work.

And another thing…I am not necessarily in struggle or twisted out of shape. I have a great perspective on where I’m going, primarily because of doing your programs for the last year. I almost sailed thru last year with no major upsets or down times because I was well taken care of by the wonderful women in your programs. See me smiling real big right now? Yeah! When all my friends were saying, ” I’m so glad to see 2009 go…I was thinking, “Gee, I really experienced a lot of love and admiration in 2009.”

I am so happy and grateful that I had your help in 2009 to gain access to my dreams. Cheers…Joan

    Dear Vicky White,

Thank you for the inspiring words - and the human way you share them!

Several years ago I began major clutter clearing, and have been addressing the Home periodically to keep the energy flowing.
(It is Amazing to me how quickly things accumulate!) Since the clutter clearing became a focus in my life - good heavens, how many things shifted. Mostly persons/situations dropped away - they just weren’t attracted to me anymore. Only recently has the inflow of NEW been obvious to me. There was a very great deal to clear out.

My Home now is a nourishing, loving, place. It isn’t just me that senses the peaceful and positive energy here - there have been a number of people to mention how good this place feels. Some people who were deeply into DRAMA were absolutely repelled by the quiet and warmth! Fascinating!

When I find myself tussling with Life, I
immediately sort out a drawer or closet -and let more go that has crept into my space.

I appreciate your e-mails and blog very much, Vicky White - and would love to meet you/travel with a group of like-minded women! Perhaps that will be in my 2010!

    Best to you,
    Gina

    Vicky!

    The bathroom cabinet has been taken over;
assorted past lurks there and breeds.
    Time to sort out!

I have a question. I’ve just cleaned the clutter in my sewing room and reorganized everything, thinking it would be more efficient and better. However, I can’t find a thing now. I’ve talked with other sewers and they have the same problem and swear they will never declutter again. Can you give me some insight on this and how I can declutter without losing everything?
