Bring on your Magical 2010

Wow, it’s here - the last day of this decade and apparently a blue moon tonight - a blue moon happens when there are two full moons in the same month - so this seems like a great opportunity to think big because we all know…..once in a blue moon amazing things happen!

Tonight we have our roving gourmet dinner here in the marina - 5 houses, 5 courses, no driving, and we just need to make sure we don’t fall in the water in between!
We’re starting at my house with appetizers and cocktails - so, before I go make my yummy raw appetizers and clean my house……
I wanted to share these cards with you. You could call them passion cards, attraction cards, vision cards, soul cards or anything else, but they are inspired by SoulCollage, a creative way of delving into yourself, developed by Seena Frost. These cards were made by my clients.
I’ve always made vision boards - they are incredibly powerful. After I moved to my houseboat last year, I looked at one I’d made for my raw food journey, only to discover I had added a photo of 2 houseboats in the Knowledge & Self Cultivation corner - because it made me feel at peace - it’s almost spooky how I ended up living on a houseboat - I had no inkling when I made that collage!
More recently I’ve been making passion cards and working with clients to create their own. First I help them get really clear about what their top passions are. Being clear about your passions is the secret to attracting what you want. Tapping into that energy makes it really easy. It’s how I attracted my houseboat, my new car, and more! But, often clients don’t think they’re passionate about anything when we start talking…..
I didn’t think I had any passions. I had gotten so focused on grinding away at life that I had stuffed them down. Turns out I’m a person with a lot of passions and there really is no other choice in life than to live your passions and feed your soul. – Joan Lohmann, WA
These vision cards are usually made on 8.5″ x 5″ card. My suggestion to you is to connect with what you are most passionate about, choose 3 or 4 big dreams for 2010 and make a card for each. Find images and sometimes words that put you in the feeling place of your passions. This is what we’ll be doing in the Bring on Your Magical 2010 program, after participants have discovered what their top passions are. Powerful stuff.
When I look back on the last couple of years - dropping 35lb, buying my houseboat, doubling my business, getting my VW beetle, and a lot more besides, most of these changes were on my radar screen at the start of those years. But I do believe setting a theme for the year and focusing on who I was be-ing, opened up something bigger. It’s rather magical and exciting when you think about it. And with a blue moon - what might be possible in this coming year?
I know how easy it is to sit in my comfort zone. I’m proud of the changes I’ve brought to who I’m being and what I’m doing - AND I know there’s a lot more to come. This year one of my goals was to spend winter somewhere warm - and where’s the warmth right now (apart from in my heart)?? Thank goodness for heated seats in my VW Beetle - that’s all I can say! I stayed in my comfort zone with this one! But not for long!
