5 Very Cool Ways to Use the Bagua to Change your Life

The Bagua is your ‘not so secret’ attraction tool.

Your home reflects your life and your life reflects the energy in your home. The Bagua is an energy template that indicates where different aspects of your life are represented in your home.

This information allows you to consciously enhance and change your physical space in order to enhance your life on all levels.

You can map the Bagua on your whole home and you can also map the Bagua on each room in your home. Particularly important are rooms such as your bedroom, home office, kitchen and any room you spend a lot of time in. All areas of your home impact the big picture and the Bagua represents your ‘whole’ life - but there will be key areas to pay close attention to. And these key areas give you a powerful boost to help you manifest your desire.

Here are 5 ways to use the Bagua to bring about your desires:

1. What do you wish to attract into your life? Which area of the Bagua does it relate to? Check that area in your home and in specific rooms such as your bedroom or your home office or any room you spend a lot of time in.

Ask yourself: what’s out of alignment with what I want? You’re looking for things that are not the same energy as what you’d like to attract - perhaps something with bad memories, something broken, something from your past life. These things all fit the definition of clutter: anything unfinished, unused, unresolved, tolerated, disorganized. Any clutter will be bogging down the energy and is not in alignment with the higher energy of what you desire. Make it a priority to clear this so your energy can flow freely and allow what you want to come to you.

In the Wealth & Prosperity area for example, take a look for things you do not want more of. This area represents abundance on all levels - do you have bills or your divorce papers or anything to do with debt here? Is your cat litter box in the Wealth & Prosperity area of your home or the Wealth & Prosperity area of a room? Not the best place for it!

2. Look for the greatest area of clutter in your home. Which area of the Bagua is it in? Is it in the Wealth area, or perhaps the creativity area? If so you’ll know this is directly impacting your prosperity, or perhaps your ability to come up with a creative solution or complete a project. This will give you an added incentive to clear that clutter and may well explain why energy seems to be stuck in that area.

Once you’ve cleared the clutter, place an enhancement in that area - something that represents abundance to you, or creativity in the example above.

3. Use the Life Wheel to see where your life is out of balance. Then use the Bagua to go to that area of your home and act like a detective. Is there clutter here? Perhaps in your relationship area you have images of single women, and you’d really like to attract your perfect partner. Knowing where different aspects of your life are represented in your home will help you find clues as to what may not be in alignment with your desire, and is therefore keeping it away.

4. Are you having challenges in a particular area of your life? Perhaps a health issue? Each area of the Bagua represents a different part of your body.

Here are some examples:

• Wealth & Prosperity: hip
• Fame & Repuatation: eyes, heart
• Love & Relationships: stomach
• Children & Creativity: teeth, neck
• Helpful People & Travel: head
• Career & Life Purpose: reproductive system
• Knowledge & Self-Cultivation: spine
• Health & Family: feet

This gives you clues as to where to look in your home. Remember the energy in your body reflects the energy in your home. Make adjustments in the corresponding area of your home and you’ll support your health, or your prosperity or your relationships or any other aspect of your life that may be challenging you.

5. Does your home have missing areas? Most homes are not a perfect square or rectangle, which means there will be missing areas and the energy of your home will be out of integrity or not whole. You’ll probably need help to map the Bagua as there are Feng Shui rules as to when certain features such as garages, patios, balconies etc get included.

The good news is, that once you know where the different areas of your life are represented you can easily address those missing areas so the energy of your home will be ‘whole’ again and all aspects of your life will be supported.

You can see on the Bagua map that each area represents an aspect of your life. It adds up to give you the whole picture.

Here’s a brief summery of the different areas of the Bagua and what they represent in your life:

• Wealth & Prosperity - flow of abundance, financial and otherwise.
• Fame & Reputation - your visibility, how you’re seen, passion
• Love & Relationships - relationships, trust, intimacy
• Children & Creativity - children, creativity, completing projects
• Helpful People & Travel - global expansion of your business, mentors, your Coach, travel
• Career - living your purpose, your ‘work’ in the world - whether paid or not
• Knowledge & Self Cultivation - your relationships with yourself, your inner self, learning new skills
• Health & Family - your family of choice or the family you were born into, health, ancestors

In using the Bagua as an attraction tool it’s important to be clear about your intention. What would you like to bring into your life? Keep this in mind as you take these actions. Feng Shui is said to be 110% effective when used with intention, 10% effective without!

Feng Shui begins with the Bagua as it’s all about making adjustments to your home based on knowing where different aspects of your life are represented. To apply feng shui principles to your home and benefit your life, or to your business if you have a home office, a bagua mapping is your key to success with Feng Shui. Otherwise it’s like focusing on your toe when you have a broken arm. At worst, you could be creating even more disharmony in your life.
