5 Tips to raise your vibration and attract what you want

One of my platinum clients this week was feeling anxious. You’ve heard about the state of the economy, right? When we started working together a few months ago, a big concern of hers was attracting enough clients - would anyone pay for her services in times like this?

That’s not her concern now. She’s working less hours and she’s just had her best month, but she feels guilty that she now has time to take the afternoon off - that doesn’t feel right. Surely she should be working harder!

She’s also receiving less phone calls and this is one way she’s measured the success of her business in the past. It’s almost like living in a parallel universe - the reality and the old fears.

It’s easy to get tied to your old beliefs - there is not enough money around, success is measured by the number of calls, success is determined by how many hours you work. It’s all about alignment and sometimes you’ll need to consciously shift those beliefs and question your stories - whether you have the proof in front of you like my client, or it hasn’t arrived yet.

Often less is more and when you remove the fluff and the busy stuff you’ll most likely be working way more efficiently, be more focused, and make more money in less time - it can be disconcerting.

For my client, she’s also got really clear about her target market and who her perfect clients are so now she’s likely not getting calls from people who are not a good fit and not likely to become clients anyway. The flow of abundance in our lives is about energy - it has nothing to do with logic or anything outside of ourselves!

The reality you’re seeing in your outer world, is a reflection of what’s going on inside - and sometimes there are adjustments to be made - either to raise your energy to be a match with what you really want, or to anchor those inner shifts you’ve made to ensure the changes are sustainable in the long-term.

For my client who’s business is booming - if she holds onto her old beliefs about tough times and there being no clients around, or feeling guilty about having downtime - or telling herself her business is failing because she’s not receiving the number of calls she used to (even though her revenue is clearly up) - then she’ll attract what she fears and prove herself right.

Let me share with you five quick tips for raising your vibration and staying in alignment with your truth:

1. Express gratitude for money that comes your way. Receive $20? Don’t tell yourself you really need $200 so that’s not enough. Be grateful for the 5 cent piece you find in the street. And keep track of money that comes to you each day. I chart these amounts each day, and put a gold star on my wall calendar each day money comes to me - my goal is to have a star on every day of the month. This touch of reality will put your energy where it’s likely to multiply. Towards the end of the month it’s energizing to see all the gold stars.

2. Choose high energy tasks and goals in your business. It’s easy to have a huge list of things waiting to be done - start by choosing something that inspires you. This may sound obvious, but for me I often start with something I think I ’should’ do. Delegate the uninspiring stuff so you can get on with what only you can do - expressing your brilliance!

3. Delete negative people! Surround yourself with others who are inspired and getting on with creating their lives and as much as possible steer clear of those who are reading too many newspapers and are obsessed with how bad they’re being told things are. If it’s someone in your family who’s the voice of doom - can you come to an agreement not to discuss those things? Join a MasterMind group and focus on the life you’re creating, not the life you fear you’re doomed to!

4. Make food choices that support you: I’ve become very aware of the connection between my emotions and the food I eat. When I get into fear, I can now connect it with certain foods - foods I really don’t want to be eating, but did! As a general guideline - the more live the food you eat is, the more vitality you’ll feel and the closer you’ll stay to what’s true for you. The more dead, the more processed - the more you’re introducing things that will distort your view of yourself and the world. You don’t need to change everything today - choose one thing. Drink a green smoothie each morning, cut out the diet cokes - you’ll feel the difference.

5. Put your time, energy and money into things that add value to your life and raise your energy. I cancelled my newspaper. I don’t have a TV and I had thought I could stay above the gloom and doom on those pages by not really focusing on them - but I suddenly thought: this does not add value to my life! This actually frees up a whole lot of time as now I won’t be distracted by sudoku!

Do these things and you’ll connect with your truth - whether you’re ready to attract the people, opportunities and situations you deserve, or you are ready to come into alignment with reality so you can build on it and have it be sustainable.

When you’re feeling inspired, energized and passionate about your life - that’s when you’re aligned with what’s real!

I paint….I walk into my office which has four different colored walls: red/orange-yellow-turquoise and purple - pure colors. I talk to my upbeat happy friends and family. I meditate. I listen to inspiring music.
Many Blessings for the knowledge you share.

“And here’s a clue - your truth is not what sells papers or TV advertising”

Exactly!!! I know my truth is always the thing that makes me tear up. That’s how I recognize that my heart is truly involved.

I love your attitude & your blog messages,

When I need to boost my vibration, I run (not always literally!) to my two-and-a half year old grand-daughter or to the waterfront.

Being with Kayley always brings me back to who I am and being on the lake connects me to everything I’m a part of.

Thanks Vicky, for the opportunity to express this.

i love fireplaces, bonfires and candles. sitting by myself,i have a cup of tea and start each day with some form of fire. the flames warm me up, dance for me and seem to burn away all the “stuff” from the previous day so i can start this day fresh and clean, full of energy.

I use all my senses to raise my vibration. This means paying attention to them fully. Really experiencing the smells, tastes, feel, beauty, the sound, the intuitive hunches. Water is also big for me- bubble baths, swimming, soaking in hot springs, or drinking a glass of fresh clean sparkling water. Color, flower, nature, art, and so many more things rock my daily world. I am happy more of the time than not these days!
Gratitude and positive self-talk have also made a huge difference, as has giving with no expectation in return.
